Cambodia Bound

In just 2 short days I’ll be taking off for Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This is a trip that I have literally been praying about taking for 4 years. It’s crazy to me that it is finally happening…and it is even more crazy to me how smoothly all of the details for the trip and ministry fell into place. I am writing to you all simply to ask for prayer support while I am there. I will be working primary with an organization called The Hard Places which does both aftercare and preventative work with girls who are at risk of being trafficked and girls who have been rescued out of the commercial sex-trade. More specifically I will be teaching music classes for the girls. This is a dream that I have had for years, so to actually have the opportunity to meld my passions and use my gift for music as a tool to aid in healing and training for at-risk/recovering young women is an incredible joy and honor for me. And I am so excited to see all that God does through it. Thank you ahead of time for your prayers.

I also wanted to give a quick update on my life and writing for those of you who regularly follow this blog. I am sorry that I have not been posting/sharing as much as usual. The past 3 months or so for me have been significant – both personally and professionally. I have not had the capacity to write but I think that is for a reason. And I am beyond excited to share everything that God has been showing me…in time. Just know that God is doing a lot and teaching me a lot about myself, about relationships, about trust, and about His beauty. And I can’t wait to share what I have been learning with you all, along with the stories, photos, and life lessons I bring back with me from Cambodia. Stay tuned and thanks for being a faithful follower of this blog. I appreciate every single of you.

Best,
Mandy
