Hey There!

I’m Mandy Black and I’m so glad you’re here! I am a small town Minnesota girl who made my home in LA for ten years and now live in the beautiful mountains of Northern Nevada. You can find me in my free time paddle boarding lake Tahoe or hiking a mountain trail with my husband and our 2 year old son. I am a worship leader, a low key matcha tea connoisseur, an avid yogi, a trail runner, and a lover of all things outdoors and adventure. But the two most important things to me in this world are my little family and my faith.

Professionally, I am a holistic health coach and educator. My own personal health battles and those of my loved ones, are what brought me to this career – from my journey with Hashimotos Hypothyroidism to watching my husband battle an autoimmune condition that stole several years of his life. It has been these experiences that have taught me how pivotal our health is in allowing us to make the most of this one life that we’ve been given. After years and literally hundreds of hours of self education on the subject of functional medicine and holistic health, I decided to pursue a certification in Integrative Nutrition and Holistic Health Coaching. My passion is to educate and inspire others to lead a life of health and wholeness physically, mentally, and spiritually.

I started this blog a decade ago under the name Forte E Bella, as a place of hope, healing, and inspiration for women. Although the branding has changed, the vision remains the same. My heart is for this blog to continue to be a resource for others to find wholeness and healing physically, mentally, & spiritually.  “Wholistic Mandy” was born from the foundational belief, that whole foods are our medicine and that living life with a whole heart has the power to heal. My passion is for natural living, the way God intended. On this website you will find healthy recipes, low toxin and natural/clean living tips, spiritually/emotionally enriching words, and health eduction resources. Feel free to have a look around and I hope you find some inspiration in your own journey towards health and wholeness.
